The purpose of the Max Bill Georges Vantongerloo Foundation in ‘Haus Bill’ is to:
- Manage representative parts of the œuvres of the two artists, friends and creative colleagues Max Bill (1908–94) and Georges Vantongerloo (1886–1965) and make their work available to the general public in Switzerland and abroad
- Maintain Max Bill’s library for academic purposes
- Hold exhibitions of contemporary artists and other cultural events in the Zumikon house designed by Max Bill or, in some cases, in other locations
- Issue publications on contemporary artists
- Confer artist recognition awards and grants
